Summer Reading Intervention “I Also Can Read”
Public school teachers were trained to implement the "Reading and Writing Workshop" model as a method to teaching literacy and fully engaging the child in his or her own learning. The summer literacy camp in 2011 included four times the number of students from the previous summer.

Support and Establish Class Libraries: Read to Succeed, Year 3 – Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue between Cultures and SIDA
The main objective of this project was to promote reading and instill a lifetime love of reading for students. In many cases this provided a second chance to ensure they continued their education and not drop out of school.
