"Our Children" was an emergency psychosocial project implemented to support traumatized students of seven schools in the South. The project included two full days of recreational activities in each school, a cultural performance, puppet show and an exhibition of student work.

Aspiring young authors from the local community are invited to attend a writer’s workshop and book writing competition of children’s stories. Three winning stories are selected for publication and distribution.

In the early years, Ana Aqra Association implemented various projects and activities sponsored mainly by private donors and fundraising events in the spirit of literacy and encouraging reading. Most of these activities still take place today.
